Some collaborations begin with a project. Others gradually grow into long-term partnerships. My work with Centrum Slniečko belongs to the second category.

Centrum Slniečko is one of Slovakia’s leading organisations supporting women, children and families affected by domestic violence, abuse and crisis situations. Alongside direct support services, the organisation is actively involved in education, prevention and advocacy.

Over the years, I have helped develop communication strategies, educational platforms, awareness campaigns, podcasts, fundraising initiatives and public communication activities. Together, we have built projects designed not only to inform, but also to strengthen trust, visibility and long-term public understanding of complex social issues.

One of the most significant outcomes of this collaboration is Bez modrín, an educational platform that helps professionals better recognise, understand and respond to violence against children and vulnerable individuals.

What I value most about this partnership is the opportunity to work beyond individual campaigns. The goal is not only to communicate what the organisation does today, but to help build the conditions for what it can achieve tomorrow. This collaboration continues to shape my understanding of how communication can support prevention, education and meaningful social change.
