Kozmo a jeho dobrodružstvá (Kozmo and His Adventures) is a prevention programme created for children in kindergartens and primary schools. Developed in collaboration with Centrum Slniečko and child protection experts, the programme helps children understand personal safety, boundaries, trust and seeking help in situations that may feel confusing or unsafe.

From the beginning, my role was to help transform an important but sensitive topic into a format that children could genuinely understand and engage with. I co-created the concept, developed the creative direction, assembled the team and helped establish a long-term vision for the programme’s sustainability and growth.

Over time, Kozmo expanded far beyond its original format. The project evolved into books, educational materials, websites, music, an audiobook narrated by actor Juraj Kemka, planetarium experiences and a broad ecosystem of learning tools used by schools and families across Slovakia.

What makes Kozmo particularly meaningful to me is that it demonstrates how prevention works best when it becomes part of a child’s everyday world rather than a one-time lesson. The programme continues to grow and remains one of the most comprehensive prevention initiatives for young children in Slovakia.
