In 2026, I conducted a strategic organisational audit and analysis for Centrum Slniečko, one of Slovakia’s leading nonprofit organisations supporting children, women and families affected by violence and crisis situations.

The aim was to look beyond external communication and understand how the organisation works from within: its internal processes, communication flows, management structure, fundraising potential, employee experience and long-term development needs.

The process included individual consultations with team leaders, participation in management meetings, observation of organisational routines, analysis of internal documents and communication flows, and an anonymous employee survey. The work resulted in a comprehensive internal report with findings, recommendations and an action plan for the next stages of organisational development.

As part of the process, I also helped formulate the organisation’s mission, strategy and theory of change, connecting its direct expert work with prevention, education, digital tools and systemic impact.

For me, this project represents an important part of my work that is less visible, but increasingly essential: helping organisations understand themselves before they communicate with the outside world. Strong communication does not begin with a campaign. It begins with clarity inside the organisation.
